GoldZeus.com is an independent publisher covering the gold market: live pricing, ETF and mining equity analysis, physical bullion guidance, and the macroeconomic forces that move the metal.
We are not a dealer. We don’t sell bullion, run a storage vault, or take a commission when you buy. That independence shapes everything on this site.
Why We Started
Gold sits in an odd position in personal finance. It’s one of the oldest stores of value in existence, held by every major central bank on earth, and yet the retail market around it is thick with noise. Search for guidance and you’ll find dealer-owned “educational” sites, affiliate pages dressed as reviews, and a permanent chorus predicting either imminent collapse or imminent moonshot.
The honest version is less dramatic. Gold is a defensive asset with a specific role in a portfolio, real costs, real tax consequences, and real trade-offs against everything else you could own instead. GoldZeus.com exists to explain that clearly, without a sales funnel at the end of it.
We started in 2019 with a straightforward test for every piece we publish: would this genuinely help someone make a better decision, or does it just exist to rank?
What We Cover
GoldZeus.com is organised around four areas.
Investment Strategies deals with allocation and portfolio construction. How much gold makes sense relative to your risk tolerance and time horizon. When and how to rebalance. Dollar-cost averaging into a position. The differences between bullion, ETFs, mining equities, and royalty companies, and when each is the right instrument. We also cover retirement vehicles, including Gold IRA rollovers and the rules that govern them.
Gold Market Insights tracks what’s actually driving the price. Central bank buying, real interest rates, currency moves, inflation data, and the geopolitical events that push capital toward safe havens. This is also where we explain the more obscure mechanics — lease rates, the gold-to-silver ratio, futures positioning — that serious investors watch but most retail coverage skips.
Physical Gold is the practical side. Vetting dealers. Understanding premiums over spot and why you never pay spot. Storage options and their trade-offs. Handling coins without wrecking their value. Selling, and how to avoid getting a poor payout. The gap between bullion and numismatics, which trips up more first-time buyers than anything else.
Gold vs. Other Assets puts gold in context. Against equities, bonds, property, venture capital, other metals, and digital assets. Sometimes the useful conclusion is that gold isn’t the right tool for the job, and we’d rather say so than sell you on it.
How We Work
Independence. We don’t accept payment for favourable coverage. Where we earn affiliate revenue or run advertising, it’s disclosed, and it never determines whether a dealer or product gets a positive review. If a widely advertised product is poor, we say it’s poor.
Sourcing. Price data, central bank reserve figures, and regulatory details come from primary sources — exchanges, official statistics agencies, central banks, and regulators — rather than secondhand reporting. Where a claim is contested or the data is thin, we say so rather than picking whichever number supports a cleaner narrative.
Corrections. Markets move and rules change. When we get something wrong, we fix it and flag the change rather than editing quietly. You can report an error at hello@goldzeus.com.
Updates. Guides covering tax rules, IRA regulations, or dealer practices are reviewed on a daily cycle, because outdated guidance on this material is worse than none.
What We Don’t Do
GoldZeus.com publishes education and analysis. Nothing here is personalised financial advice.
We’re not licensed advisors, brokers, or tax professionals. We can explain how an allocation framework works; we can’t tell you what percentage of your particular portfolio belongs in gold. We can lay out how capital gains treatment differs by jurisdiction; we can’t file your return. For decisions that turn on your specific circumstances, speak to a qualified professional in your country.
We also don’t forecast prices. Anyone who tells you with confidence where gold trades next quarter is guessing, and usually selling something. Our full Disclaimer covers this in detail.
Who Reads GoldZeus.com
Our readers range from people buying a first coin to investors managing substantial allocations across bullion, funds, and mining equities. They’re in investor markets, and they tend to arrive with a specific question rather than general curiosity.
That shapes how we write. We assume you’re intelligent but not necessarily fluent in market jargon, and we’d rather define a term than leave you guessing.
